Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
OperatorIQ ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect through operatoriq.com.au and our services, why we collect it, how we store it, and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, business name and anything you write in your message.
- Bookings: when you book a call through our booking page, the booking provider collects your name, email address and chosen time on our behalf.
- Analytics: standard website analytics such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. This is largely aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
- Visitor identification tools: we may use tools that help identify the business (not the individual) visiting our site, using information such as your IP address.
- AI voice demo: if you talk to our AI receptionist demo, your audio is streamed to and processed by our voice technology provider so the assistant can respond. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so we can review quality. Do not share sensitive information in the demo.
- Valuation and diagnostic tools (when available): business and financial information you choose to provide so we can prepare your analysis.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide our services.
- To run and improve our website and demos.
- To understand which businesses are interested in our services so we can follow up appropriately.
- To prepare analysis or reports you have asked for.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the above without asking you first.
How it is stored and who it is shared with
Your information is stored in the reputable third-party systems we use to run the business, such as our form and automation provider, booking provider, analytics providers, voice technology provider and customer relationship tools. Some of these providers store data outside Australia (commonly in the United States). We choose providers with appropriate security practices and only share what is needed for them to do their job.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.
Cookies
Our analytics and visitor-identification tools may use cookies or similar technologies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask a question or make a complaint about how we have handled it. Contact us at info@operatoriq.com.au and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date above.
